“Ford GT 40 Mk IV: Victory at Le Mans 1967"
By Michael Mate
Dimensions: 23" x 31"
NOW AVAILABLE AUTOGRAPHED BY DAN GURNEY!
The Ford GT 40 MK IV was conceived and built specifically to achieve
superiority over Ferrari and the other European marques that had dominated
endurance racing throughout the 1960s. Twelve chassis were built
by Michigan builder Kar Kraft for Shelby American, Inc, all featuring
427 cubic inch power plants. The goal was achieved at the 1967 24
Hours of Le Mans when the team of Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt, driving
the Number One serial number J-6, emerged victorious over the Ferrari
333P4 driven by Ludovico Scarfiotti and Mike Parkes. The edition
is limited to 500 lithographic signed and numbered prints. Only
50 copies have been signed by Dan Gurney.
Now Available! Giclee prints on canvas, limited to only 75!
Image area approximately 18 x 24. These may be ordered unframed or
